Asia Cup 2023 in UAE: The Pakistan Cricket Board has threatened to pull out of the World Cup if the Asia Cup is shifted from Pakistan. The BCCI has announced that the Indian team will not participate if the series is held in Pakistan in September. A consultation meeting was held today in Bahrain to take a final decision on this.
At that time, PCB said in the meeting that it has successfully conducted international cricket matches in Pakistan for the last 3 years.
Asia Cup 2023 in UAE
The 2023 Asia Cup will be the 16th edition of the Asia Cup, with the matches to be played as One Day Internationals (ODIs) in with hosts and venue to be announced in March 2023. The tournament will be played by 6 teams, and is scheduled to be held in September 2023 as a preparatory series before the 2023 Cricket World Cup in India.

The meeting ended inconclusively as Pakistan remained firm in their response. The member countries of the Asian Cricket Association have decided to discuss this issue again in March. It has been announced that if the Asia Cup is not held in Pakistan, it will be held in the United Arab Emirates.
