What did Rohit say after the loss in an Interview:

Captain Rohit Sharma commented on the defeat against the Sri Lankan team, saying, “We batted well in the first 10 overs of this match.” However, we were unable to score big runs in the second half. On this ground, we believe we were 10 to 15 runs short. That was the source of our failure.  In the second half, nothing went our way.

Middle-order batsmen have a lot to learn about playing shots. Things like this are unavoidable. We must learn from this and regroup as a team. We also did well with the ball today. However, the batsmen of the Sri Lankan team performed admirably, and our strategy failed.

It’s a high-pressure game we know that. You’ve got to be at it every time” – Rohit Sharma
