MS Dhoni is Back: ‘Captain Jadeja resigns’, Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the captain. Jadeja to handover CSK captaincy back to MS Dhoni: Ravindra Jadeja has decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game.

Chennai Super Kings fans were thrilled with MS Dhoni’s return to captaincy after CSK announced that Ravindra Jadeja has decided to hand over the captaincy back to Thala.

“Jadeja to handover CSK captaincy back to MS Dhoni: Ravindra Jadeja has decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game & has requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK. MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest & to allow Jadeja to focus on his game,”

Chennai Super Kings said in an official statement.

Ravindra Jadeja, who captained the Chennai Super Kings, has again given up his captaincy to Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Thala).

The pressure is on Jadeja as he has a chance of winning all the upcoming matches, i.e. 6 matches. It has been reported that the captain has left the post to get rid of these pressures.

The Chennai Super Kings, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, lost badly in the 13th season, losing the play – offs, and then won the trophy in the 14th season. Following this, Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja to pave the way for the next generation.

The Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings have suffered a humiliating defeat, winning just two of their last eight matches. With Dhoni back on the field, captain Jadeja has been batting, bowling and fielding. Jadeja is expected to play immensely in the upcoming matches as he is currently stepping down as captain.
