Head Coach for India Announcement: BCCI announced today as “Pillar of Indian Cricket Team and former batsmen Rahul Dravid officially appointed as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team was on Wednesday.”

Rahul Dravid to be Team India’s new head coach after T20 World Cup 2021. BCCI has announced today as Rahul Dravid was selected and the job openings for head coach is just a formality. Former Pillar of Team India’s and prolific batsman Rahul Dravid is all set to become the next head coach of the men’s national team successor of Ravi Shastri.

Ravi Shastri is the current head coach for the Indian Cricket Team who is playing currently in UAE for the T20 World Cup 2021. Rahul is going to replace Ravi and going to take the burden on his shoulder. He is very successful in the India under 19 training for many years. Dravid came into the BCCI fold in 2015 as coach of India A and India under- 19 teams and he was later appointed Head of Cricket at the NCA.

Rahul Dravid is the favourite one to take over from Shastri as India head Coach. Former India captain has emerged as front-runner to replace Ravi Shastri as India men’s head coach after the latter’s tenure however now the BCCI has officially announced Dravid as a new head coach of Men in Blue. Rahul’s effort at the NCA has nurtured several young cricketing talents who have gone on to represent the country at the international stage. I am hopeful that his new stint will take Indian cricket to new heights,” said Ganguly.
