Bio-Secure Environment

  • The IPL teams are supposed to create their bio-secure bubble beyond which the players and support staff will not be allowed to interact as per IPL latest news 2020.
  • A similar bubble will also be created for the IPL match officials, the BCCI, the broadcasters and the IMG staff.

DXB Covid Tracing App: Every player who visits UAE for IPL 2020 UAE must install the DXB Covid Tracing App on their smartphone for Social distancing rules will be implemented and need to be followed on and off the field.

Travel & accommodation: According to a report, all franchises will have to figure their own travel arrangements and accommodation in UAE. BCCI will coordinate with UAE authorities to ensure “discounted hotel rates” and share it with the franchises. It will then be the franchise’s discretion to settle for options provided by BCCI or make their own arrangements. F

Dressing Room Protocols: Players will have to join their respective teams at the same time, a maximum of 15 players to be permitted inside the team dressing room.
