Dubai Expo Opening Ceremony: Expo 2020 Dubai kicks off with lavish opening ceremony. Expo 2020 Dubai is the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East and the world’s biggest in-person event this year. Expo 2020 began on Friday, 1 October 2021 Officially with lavish opening ceremony including stars from europe and UK.

The opening ceremony of Expo 2020 will use never-seen-before broadcasting technology to beam the stunning 90-minute show,

Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, declared the Expo open at a ceremony on Thursday evening that featured stars from across the world, including Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, British popstar Ellie Goulding and Chinese pianist Lang Lang.

Sheikh Mohammed told the Al Bayan newspaper this week that it would be “exceptional event to be engraved in mankind’s memory”.

We take pride in welcoming representatives of 192 countries to the land of tolerance, as we invest in this global gathering to find solutions to global challenges on the grounds of international co-operation that humanity is in need of,” he said on the eve of Dubai expo 2020 – Event of opening ceremony

  • China’s pavilion: Traditional lantern Shaped and it is one of the largest at the Expo;
  • Morocco’s Pavilion: Morocco’s was made with traditional mud-building methods; and
  • Saudi Arabia Pavilion: Saudi Arabia’s includes the world’s largest interactive lighting floor, LED mirror screen and interactive water feature.
  • India Pavilionp: India’s massive 4-floor pavilion promises to captivate one and all with a brilliant mix of Ayurveda, Yoga, Space programme, and its fast-growing US$ 2.5 trillion economy.

  • The Dubai Expo 2021 will be organised for over 182 days with the aim to showcase humanity’s potential to design a future with innovation.
  • The Expo will also house over 200 pavilions which will feature interactive exhibits, including entertainment pavilions, luxurious meeting spaces, quirky hangout zones as well as daily live events.
  • Dubai Expo 2021 also provides visitors with a global platform to attract investments and promote international cooperation.


The UAE pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai on the opening day for visitors. The falcon, known for its agility, strength and courage, is a cultural symbol in the UAE that signifies the vitality of the nation and the importance of falconry in UAE tradition.
It is no wonder that Expo 2020 Dubai’s UAE Pavilion, spanning 15,000 square metres and the largest on site, draws inspiration from this remarkably powerful bird.
