On Monday 17 January, The Best FIFA Football Awards 2021 will be presented in Zurich.
Awards are given to both to the player voted the best from both the women’s game and the men’s game, with 11 players nominated for each award.
The season’s best players will be crowned at the Home of FIFA in Zurich from 19:00 CET and the event will be streamed live on FIFA.comand the FIFA YouTube channel.
Well-known presenters Reshmin Chowdhury and Jermaine Jenas will oversee proceedings at The Best FIFA Football Awards as the footballing world’s biggest names are recognised for their achievements over the past season.
THE BEST FIFA AWARDS
The Best FIFA Football Awards™, which began in 2016, marked a new era in crowning the outstanding figures in world football. The first ceremony was held in the TPC-Studios in Zurich and got fans involved more than ever before with their votes from 2016 helping to crown the best players and coaches in men’s and women’s football. The FIFA Fan Award was also given out for the first time to honour outstanding gestures from supporters.
Lucy Bronze is the reigning women’s holder, and Robert Lewandowski won for the men’s side back in 2021. There are more awards, including the Puskas award for thes best goal of 2021, coach of the year, and goalkeeper of the year.
