IPL 2023: Lucknow Super Giants Releases Their New Jersey for the IPL 2023

IPL 2023: The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) presented their new uniform for the Indian Premier League 2023 season on Monday (March 7). The Lucknow-based team has made significant alterations to its shirt since the previous edition, but supporters are not thrilled thus far.
The new jersey was unveiled by LSG with the event motto, “Naya Rang, Naya Josh, Nayi Umeed, Naya Andaar.” Moreover, as promised, the new uniform will be dark blue, as opposed to the previous season’s turquoise blue-green. It also includes red and bright green side stripes.
The occasion was attended by team captain KL Rahul and mentor Gautam Gambhir. Jay Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), also attended a function with franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka. Famous LSG players Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Ravi Bishnoi, and Jayadev Unadkat surprised fans by walking the ramp at the event.
The KL Rahul-led squad made its IPL 2022 debut and impressed the crowd with their skills. Last season, they finished third in the standings after winning nine of 14 group-stage matches, but they were defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore by a tight 14-run margin in the Elimination match.
The Lucknow Super Giants have added some big-name players to their roster in the IPL 2023 auction. To cover all the gaps ahead of the new season, they signed international talent Nicholas Pooran, Daniel Sams, Romario Shepherd, and Naveen-ul-Haq, as well as Indian pacer Unadkat and experienced spinner Amit Mishra.
LSG will play its home games at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. On April 1, they will play the Delhi Capitals in their first IPL 2023 game at home.
