“Congrats to Josh Little who is heading off on a development opportunity with the Chennai Super Kings in the early stages of the upcoming IPL. The experience as a net bowler for CSK should be fantastic. ” Ireland cricket board shared the message on twitter on Monday.

IPL 2022 gets underway on March 26 and CSK will step into the competition as defending champions.

Irish fast bowler Josh Little has been named the net bowler by the Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Cricket Ireland on its official Twitter page hopes that this will be a great experience for left-arm crackers. Significantly, IPL 2022 starts on March 26, and CSK will be the reigning champions.

Little, who made his international debut again in September 2016, is a key component of the T20I team. The cracker can swing the ball early on, too, with decent speed. During the death overs, the run flow could not be controlled at all, and he showed his skills at the highest level.

Little has 34 wickets in 31 T20I appearances with an impressive economy rate of 7.49. With the T20 World Cup taking place later this year in Australia, Little’s lessons from this opportunity to work with CSK can be major boost for the Ireland team.
