“I was waiting for three years for an opportunity. My parents used to say that it was their dream to watch me play in an IPL match. Now that I’m playing, my parents are the happiest. I’m very happy as well, I’m fulfilling their dream. I dedicate my performance today to my parents,” Mohsin said in a chat with Deepak Hooda after LSG’s game against PBKS.

Mohsin added that he had learned a lot in the new franchise and would continue to consult LSG captain KL Rahul. The 23-year-old was part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) but could not enter the playing XI.

I will continue to follow what I’ve been doing. I keep having conversations with Rahul Bhai (KL Rahul) and the support staff, and try to add whatever inputs they give me.”
