India is the first ever team to use 10 openers in a calendar year in men’s T20Is. Virat Kohli, the tenth Indian opener of 2022, registers the highest T20I score for India.

Dinesh Karthik becomes the first Indian to bowl as well as keep wickets in T20Is.

Since the first final in 1986, this is the first Asia Cup Final with all players never playing an Asia Cup Final before.
