India lost this game in all three categories with poor batting by key players like Rohit Sharma overshadowing poor bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and a catch by Arshideep Singh. However, Virat Kohli who entered the batting field in the sixth over, once again transformed into a lion’s nightmare against Pakistan and remained the anchor until the final over hitting 60 (44) runs with 4 fours and 1 six at a respectable strike rate of 136.36.
Virat took a month off after receiving daily criticism for failing to score a hundred after 2019 and is now playing sharply in this series. He was criticized for batting slowly in the first game where he scored 35 runs with the help of luck. Despite scoring 59* (44) runs against Hong Kong, he was again criticized for his batting.
