IND vs AUS Actor Rajinikanth attends the opening ODI at Wankhede Stadium: Actor Rajinikanth allegedly intends to attend the ODI match between India and Australia that is taking place in Mumbai. The actor accepted Amol Kale’s offer to see the opening ODI match. Kale is the president of the Mumbai Cricket Association. The MCS President allegedly acknowledged inviting the iconic actor Rajinikanth, saying that having the superstar performer attend the Wankhede stadium would be a huge honour.
Beside the Indian athletes who would be thrilled to see the superstar actor, Australian actor David Warner, a major follower of Rajinikanth, will also be delighted to meet the actor. Rajinikanth reportedly last attended a cricket match in person in Mumbai during the 2011 World Cup.
Rajinikanth arrived in Mumbai by plane on Friday, and the MCA president welcomed him. MCA President Kale expressed his gratitude for the actor’s visit to the organisation and said it was an honour to have Rajinikanth with them in the stadium in an interview with Times of India.
Rajinikanth enjoys playing cricket, but due to his hectic shooting schedule, he rarely has time to witness a game in person. On March 17, Rajinikanth and his wife Latha arrived in Mumbai to watch the ODI.
