IND PM Vs AUS PM: The Prime Ministers of India and Australia will be in attendance on day one of the fourth and final India-Australia Test in Ahmedabad, which begins on Thursday, March 9.

PM Narendra Modi, after whom the restored stadium in Motera is called, will be in attendance, as will his Australian colleague Anthony Albanese, who will be in India on an official visit from March 8 to 11.
India has won both Tests played at the Motera ground since it was renamed the Narendra Modi Stadium in 2021. After winning the first two Tests in Nagpur and Delhi to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the fourth time in a row, India was defeated by Australia in the third meeting in Indore, leaving the series 2-1 going into the final Test.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, India was bowled out for 109 on day one, leaving Australia with an 88-run advantage in the first innings.
