Twitter Reactions Pujara 100: On Friday, February 17, Cheteshwar Pujara, a seasoned cricketer for India, hit the field at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi to play in his 100th Test match for his country’s team against Australia. Pujara reached a significant milestone by becoming the second cricketer to play 100 Tests in their career when India and Australia squared off in the second of the four-match series.
Despite his brilliant batting performance in the test matches, the Sourashtrian player faced many ups and downs before and after his place in India’s Test team. Now he is entering into the elite club of 100th Test.

Prior to the second Test, the 35-year-old got a guard of honour from the team and an unique cap from India great Sunil Gavaskar to mark the occasion. Pujara was overjoyed to receive the cap from the former India cricketer and thanked the board, family, and well-wishers for helping him reach the significant milestone.

The batsman scored 7,021 runs for Team India before his 100th Test, averaging 44.15 runs with 19 hundreds and 34 fifties, and his greatest career performance was 206 not out against England in Ahmedabad in 2012. India now leads the series 1-0, and when Pujara plays his 100th Test, he will be looking to provide his team with the important runs and try to put up a strong innings.
