ZIM vs IND 2nd ODI: India are just one victory away from recording another series win in One Day format. The team will be hoping to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 as they will have a faceoff with Zimbabwe in the second One-Day International. The high-profile match will be conducted at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday.

The Men in Blue delivered a perfect performance in the first ODI as they hammered Zimbabwe with ten wickets. The team excelled in all three formats of the game, be it batting, bowling or fielding. Indian bowlers, especially the pacers, caused carnage on the field. The likes of Deepak Chahar, Prasidh Krishna, and Axar Patel picked three wickets each.

The exploits by the aforementioned players restricted the host to a below-average total of 189 runs. They were folded within 40.3 overs in their home conditions. Batting in the second innings, India chased the total without breaking a sweat. 

The team went on to record a victory by ten wickets. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill hammered 81* and 82* runs, respectively. Though India was absolutely lethal in the first One Day International, they will be concerned with skipper KL Rahul not getting any game time. 

Speaking of Zimbabwe, the team was high on momentum owing to its victory against Bangladesh. However, they failed to replicate their performance due to an embarrassing collapse of the batting order. The host needs to find an answer to their top-order batting woes at the earliest to give some tough fight to KL Rahul & Co.

Pitch Condition 

Just like the first One Day International, a low-scoring game is on cards for Saturday as well. Bowlers are expected to get a good seam and bounce from the surface in the first game to rattle the opposition batters. The deck flattens a bit in the second innings and therefore it is easy to score runs. Thus, the captain winning the toss will be eager to bat second.

The temperature is expected to be around 28 degrees celsius. The wind speed and humidity will be 13 km/h and 22 percent.
