Suresh Raina makes key decision as a result of IPL boycott – fans are both saddened and delighted, and here are the full details

The prominent cricketer from Uttar Pradesh named Suresh Raina made his international debut for India in 2005 and played a key role in numerous historic triumphs. He is regarded as one of India’s best middle order batsmen having batted in the middle order in many of the country’s defeats, particularly in white ball cricket. His impressive runs in the quarter-finals and semi-finals particularly in the 2011 World Cup have been lauded by then coach Gary Christon on numerous occasions.

He has 7988 runs for India in 322 matches and is the first Indian player to score centuries in all three types of international cricket. However, he lost the opportunity to play continuously in the Indian team after the 2015 World Cup due to stumbling on short-pitched balls, and he last played in 2018.

CSK ignored Raina

In the IPL, he has been dubbed “Mr. IPL” by the Chennai Super Kings team since 2008, owing to his many historic records and victories for the team. And, while Tamil Nadu celebrated him as “Chinnathala” who performed admirably alongside captain Dhoni, Raina lost form in the IPL series after 2018 just like the Indian carrier.

However, the Chennai management which neglected to thank him for his numerous victories removed him after he had a lackluster season in 2021 and abandoned him for the following year without keeping him in the auction or introducing him. At that time Suresh Raina IPL 2022 journey came to end. When his soulmate Dhoni abruptly retired from international cricket on July 4, 2020, he lost the chance to play for India in the interim and announced his retirement at the age of 33 as a gesture of friendship.

Dhoni and the Chennai management did not support him when he suffered from poor form the following year which still irritates many fans. As a result of his removal Chennai missed the play-off round in the 2020 and 2022 seasons. He recognized reality once more and became a commentator blowing a whistle in support of Chennai. Recently, videos of him training in the Chennai team’s jersey went viral on social media.

Announced his retirement from all formate

Suresh Raina has begun training in preparation for the upcoming T20I series in South Africa or Dubai. Suresh Raina has now made the official announcement. To play in overseas T20 series, one must have retired from playing for India, IPL series, and domestic series such as Ranji Trophy.

But Suresh Raina who was forced to play his favorite sport because he was ignored in all three venues has already retired from international cricket and has now officially announced his retirement from all cricket, including domestic and IPL. In response to this he stated the following.

“It is a great honor to play for my country and state. I hereby announce my retirement from all forms of cricket. And I would like to thank BCCI, Uttar Pradesh Board, Chennai administration, Rajeev Shukla, my fans and those who believed in my talent.” Suresh Raina’s career ended without a farewell ceremony, which disappointed many fans. O on the other hand fans are relieved that Suresh Raina will soon play in a T20 series.
