The Cricket T20 World Cup (officially known as ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup) is the international championship of T20 cricket. As the cricketing world gets ready for the 2022 T20 World Cup mega event, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the date for submission of squads for T20 WC in Australia. According to various reports, ICC has instructed all the boards to submit their 15-member squad by 15 September.
T20 World Cup Squad Selection for India

This date gives the head coach Rahul Dravid and Chetan Sharma-led selection committee four more series to build the perfect squad for the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue is now in Ireland for a two-game T20I series starting from 26 June.
Then India will take on England in a three-match starting from 7 July to 10 July. Then India will play three T20Is against the West Indies from 29 July to 2 August. The 2007 T20 World Cup winners will then play in the Asia Cup T20 that will begin on 27 August.
Sanjay Bangar Views
Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar said that he believes India have already shortlisted 17-18 players for the T20 World Cup squad and the intention behind giving the new guys a chance to be part of the set-up is to make them familiar with the dressing room. Hardik Pandya will be leading a young side during two T20Is against Ireland.
Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar suggested that India have already finalised a group of 17-18 players for T20 World Cup. “I believe that the 11 players who have played in this series so far, and the first-team players who are rested, I think those 17-18 players have already been shortlisted (for the T20 World Cup squad),” Bangar added.
Bangar said that intention behind the team givong chances to younger players is to make familiar with the dressing room atmosphere
“I think Umran Malik, for example, is brought into the squad to make him familiar with the dressing room atmosphere, and how an international team functions. Because IPL is a domestic league at the end of the day and international cricket is a step up from that. So, some players have been selected in the squad to give them that experience,”

All the 16 team will have to submit their squad to the ICC by the 15th of September 2022 for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia which is scheduled from October 16th.
