Chasing 185, Litton Das gave Bangladesh a brilliant start, smashing Indian bowlers all over the field. His extraordinary innings gave major scare to Indian team. He completed his fifty in just 21 balls, second fastest of this World Cup. Bangladesh were flying before the rain interrupted. After 7 overs, Bangladesh were 66/0, 17 runs ahead of India as per DLS Method.

Revised Target To Bangladesh
India were worried about the rain, however the game began after the 55 minutes delay. The target was revised to 151 in 16 overs.

A brilliant direct hit from KL Rahul sent inform Litton Das to pavillion on the very second ball after the game resumed. After this wicket, Indian players were pumped up. Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda and Arshdeep Singh took fine catches and Bangladesh could only manage to score 40 runs in 34 balls for the loss of 5 wickets after Das got dismissed.
