India beat Netherlands in T20WC 2022: Second Victory For India, Defeats Netherlands: India won the second consecutive win in the tournament by defeating the Netherlands in their second match of the T20 World Cup. India defeated the Netherlands by 56 runs in a one-sided match. After winning the toss, the Indian team came out to bat first and scored 179 for 2 wickets in 20 overs.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and then Suryakumar Yadav scored fifty for India. In response, the Netherlands team did not appear aggressive even once while chasing the target and the Indian bowlers took advantage, as a result of which the Netherlands team could score just 123 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In the first match, India defeated Pakistan by 4 wickets.

FIRST INNINGS
Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. KL Rahul once again failed to deliver, returned to pavillion after scoring 9 runs. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli put on a 73-run stand. Rohit scored 53 runs in 39 balls with the help of 3 sixes.

Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli once again delievered for India. They both scored 95 runs to take India to 179 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored unbeaten 62 runs in 44 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes, while Surya quickfired 51 runs off 25 balls with the help of 7 fours.

Second Innings
Netherland: Could only manage to score 123 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled two consecutive maiden overs in the poweplay and dismissed Vikramjit Singh. Max and Leede scored 16 runs each, while Tim Pringle scored 20 runs. Bhuvneshwar, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Ashwin shared two wickets each. Man of the Match – Surya Kumar Yadav wins the player of the match award for his brilliant knock.
