Australia and England entered into semi Final of the T20 World Cup 2021 Tournament. Both England and Australia with 8 points, 4 out of 5 wins for both and England top the table for the group 1 in this tournament.
England lost the match today vs South Africa, Unfortunate for SA as they won the match and 4 out of 5 win and 8 points on the table however they are not eligible for semis as they fall short of NRR against Australia.

England already eligible to enter semi final with top leader of the table for group 1. Australia beat West Indies and they were waiting for qualify to the Semi Final on today. They have been waiting for South Africa to finish the match as both of them are with the same points. If SA would have won the match against England with 50 runs margin win, then they would have been eligible for Semi final, however, they won just by 10 runs against England. So, based on NRR, Australia eligible to semi-final with luck in hand, finally they entered into semi finals with second spot, after SA gain their 3rd spot on the table.
