The ball came well in the first 14-15 overs. And Rashid bowling was good today. So we believed that playing Rashid bowling would be the right thing to do. Because in every match, every bowler’s performance is crucial. In that way, Rashid’s bowling was excellent in this match. So I gave him the 19th over.”
Salam exceptional spell included the important dismissals of Tamil Nadu players Sai Sudharsan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Sai Kishore. His ability to take wickets at crucial junctures of the game turned the tide in Delhi’s favor, ultimately leading them to victory.
